This is your invitation to the big day

It is that time of year when we invite you to join us on the 10th September 2010 for the 4th Buccleuch Property Challenge. For those of you who last participated in 2008 the memory of aching muscles and steep hills will have long since faded and the onset of longer evenings has hopefully enabled you to start a fitness programme; for those new to the Challenge, we hope you have only heard good things about the day and are keen to participate.

We are very mindful that the corporate environment has changed significantly since we last ran the event and in particular that participants will be seeking value for money and hope that the significantly reduced cost will appeal to more people.

We remain committed to maintaining a similar format and that the event is suitable for all levels, although a reasonable degree of fitness will only increase the enjoyment of the day. For those that need something to aim for we will be hosting a BBQ afterwards at Drumlanrig as the carrot to make it to the finish line and we are aiming to attract over 200 people to participate.

We would very much like to continue with the charitable aspects of the day and will be giving you the opportunity to make a voluntary donation when you enter or to seek sponsorship via a ‘Just Giving’ website; this year’s nominated charity is to be announced.  We will also be offering a number of corporate sponsorship opportunities in due course.
