EVENT RULES

The following rules apply to all competitors…

• Cheating is prohibited.
• You can only use modes of transport described or provided for each stage.
• Teams must always stick together unless the route passport allows you to split up for some activity elements. Your team members must always be within a 100m radius.
• Always follow the instructions in the route book.
• All team members must dib in using their electronic wrist band key at the relevant checkpoints along the course.
• Follow the country code and never drop litter or leave gates open.
• Always be nice to event stewards; they are there to help you.
• Event safety staffs advice and instruction must be followed at all times.
• Race disputes - the race directors decision is final on any disputes raised by competitors or team.
• If one of your team members drops out of the race regardless of reason the remaining team members will be encouraged to finish the race but will be officially unranked.
• If you lose a team passport route book or map you will be given a replacement at a cost (a time penalty will be applied!) If you lose any official event equipment your team will receive a time penalty.
• Each team must have four participants - this must include at least one woman. If you can't source enough team members from within your organisation, ringers should have a legitimate connection to the property industry!
• All teams must arrive in a good mood, be up for a laugh and a challenge and at all times respect other competitors.

The rules are here to assist you but they only do so through good sportsmanship to others, so don't risk doing something that you think is probably breaking the rules. Remember the hills and forests have eyes!
